Introduce Myself To WeKu Community

Dear friends and community,

After months of a long hard clean up and developing process, Weku has become a great platform and we all could feel the future.

Today I am honoured to be part of the Weku witness team, thank you for your support. I am very grateful for the opportunity which has been given to me and today I would like to introduce myself to my beloved Weku community.

My name is Sainath Reddy( @saimegh ) a student from India

My Weku journey

I started here as one of the early adopter and witnessed every situation from the beginning.

I was part of the WekuCleanners team, until we had an internal issue and had to stop the project. Shortly after, I was approached by my moderator partner @siamcat to be a co-leaders for a new anti-abuse project ‘WekuBusters’ which I was agreeing to join and that was the beginning of our WekuBusters and moderator journey. We started the project by 2 person , became successful in a very short period and extended our team.

At the beginning, we are working without Weku delegation support but after our official announcement, we could catch the attention from Weku official team, which supports and working side by side with us ever since.

There were time that Weku was witnessing dramatically problems.This platform was ruining by abusers, scammers, spammers and all kinds of inappropriate users. We support Weku official team and running a big clean up process in the last 4-5 months and now, we are proud to see Weku became a healthy platform.

Thought our hard work, we won friends and enemies at the same time, however, we continue our work and focus on our goals. Our team has become stronger and we are part of the big Weku family.

Though many turbulent situations, we have never given up this place and faithfully working for this community because we believe in Weku, protecting this platform has become our priority.

I promise to continue my work as a moderator, a Busters member and a witness by doing my best for our beloved community.
